“In yachting, the term ‘crossing’ often refers to a long passage — most commonly across the Atlantic. For days on end, the horizon is nothing but open water, with hardly another ship in sight. In those moments, the beauty of the ocean’s sunsets and sunrises brought me immense joy and carried me through the long days (and the occasional bout of seasickness!). This painting is a small study capturing one (of the many) vibrant sunsets I was fortunate enough to witness while crossing the Atlantic.”
This painting is finished with a protective gloss, signed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
